OUR STORY
During her work as a therapist, Laurianne Neidecker has met many women who struggled to deal with various issues encountered throughout their teenage years; poor self-esteem, negative body image, or anxiety about their future.

A question emerged:
If these women had benefited as teenagers from relationships with other females, just a few years older, like a Big Sister, who not only understood her but also experienced some of the same struggles...
Could this have helped them cope in those difficult times?
And what impact would this have had on the subsequent course of their lives?
The question sparked a deeper reflection on women’s struggles in building their female identity in a society which, to this day, is predominantly influenced by males. A society in which women still have to prove themselves and compete against stereotypes and double standards. Laurianne envisioned a way in which these women could be helped, by offering them a community of female support, where everyone is listened to and welcomed with open arms.
Following her vision, in March 2019, Laurianne established the Geneva-based organization called...
"Little Sister Big Sister Project"
...a unique mentorship program aimed at supporting adolescent girls.
Enthusiastic young women answered her call and formed the first group of “Big Sisters”. Laurianne and Cécile de la Ruelle, certified coach and co-founder of the organization, designed and launched a training program aimed to help our Big Sisters in their mission. They became our first Little Moms.
To ensure a truly holistic approach, Little Sister Big Sister Project is enriched by the active presence of experienced women, our Marraines who share with the young women of our organization the fruits of their own experiences both personally and professionally.
Today our growing organization reunites women from across generations and geographic borders in an open-minded, supportive and stimulating environment. These values constitute a fertile ground aimed to inspire and empower the women today and in the future.
